Replacement transformer for Neumann Gefell power supplies

We offer a 115V/230V replacement transformer that fit in most Neumann Gefell made tube microphone power supplies. Historical only made for the former East Block where all countries were set up for 220V 50Hz , they lack the voltage selector that were standard in the Neumann Berlin made supplies.

In the last few years those "People owned Neumanns" found their way to the US and require either a step up- or a new power transformer. The "Step Up" solution doesn't really cut it for studio use, mostly creating more noise and other problems. We offer a direct replacement set of x-former that fit right into those historical units, like N55/60 and 65, that we used to power CMV and UM type mics.

Even the installation is just a swap, it should be done by a qualified technician that changes at the same time the long needed filter caps, if you do not know any good tech we can help you with qualified people.

Our replacement next to a historic Gefell one, we chose the solder lugs for easier installation.

Gefell made several different styles of tube mic transformer during the time of the Soviet occupation. Most early ones like N55 had solder lugs, later N65 just plain wires. Sometimes the layout of the components varies even for units with same part number. If you are not sure which kind of supply you have, please contact us, we are more than happy to help you with any technical question.
